What’s a Zap, a Story and a Loop?＋
Zaps are posts that stay on your profile. Stories disappear after 24 hours. Loops are short videos. Each has its own place, so your moments don’t get mixed up.
Are Chats and DMs different inboxes?＋
No. The message button on Zaps opens Chats: one inbox for your conversations. Requests from new people stay separate until you accept.
Can people see my phone number?＋
Your number is not displayed on your public profile. Phone discovery and profile visibility are separate controls. People who already have your number may find you according to your discovery settings.
